SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

ALL PROCEEDS OF YORKIE*FAIR GO TO THE NORTHERN MIAMI VALLEY CHAPTER OF
THE AMERICAN RED CROSS

10:00am         Opening ceremonies with Mayor Mike Beamish honoring us with
a Proclamation, Miss Christy Jung singing the National  Anthem and “The blessing of the
dogs”.

10:15am        Opening of the games: Go Fish, Duck Pond, Doggie Cake Walk,
Lollipop Tree and Ring Toss. This year we will have gold
nuggets hidden in the building and if you find a nugget and
bring it to the front information table, you will receive a free
ticket to play a game of your choice.

Stage 1, at entrance,
will have music and karaoke all day with “The Songbird”,
Leslie and John Honeyman from Troy, Ohio.

Pictures will be taken all day by Patricia Hunley Photography
just right of the entrance with Western and Old Time scenes
with your dogs. Pictures will be posted on Photoreflect and
you can go on line and see your photos and choose to purchase at your leisure.

10:30am        Introduction of Attending Vendors and announce sponsors.

10:45am        Sign up at stage 2 for the “Mutt Strutt”. A time to show
off your dog and their western outfits, not required, with
MC Paul Brown.

11:00am        Mutt Strutt on Stage 2. Time to show off our 4 legged
friends.

11:15am         Check out the Pet CPR/First Aid demos at the
American Red Cross booth and sign up for an upcoming
class and learn how to help your animals at time of need.

11:30am        Parade of Adoptable Dogs.

11:45am        Sign up for the Look-A-Like Contest at Stage 2.

12:00pm        The Look-A-Like Contest!  Do you look like your dog?
Do you wear the same clothes?  Come join us to see who
looks just like their flour legged friend. Judges to
be announced.

12:15pm        Award First and Second place winners of the Look-A-Like Contest.

12:30pm        Get ready for the Fashion Show with Designs for
Dinky Dogs with fashion designer Deb Shaw.  You will
see the latest designs from dresses, hat, costumes and
accessories for the hip dog.

12:45pm         Don’t forget to buy your 50/50 tickets.  How exciting to
take home the pot or buy your four legged, furry friend
his favorite toy at Yorkie*Fair.

1:00pm        The exclusive “YORKIE*FAIR Fashion Show on stage 2
with local models, Him and Her Fashions. Check out “Designs
for Dinky Dogs” upfront by the entrance.

1:30pm        Continuation of the Fashion Show.

1:45pm        Sign up for the Costume Contest at stage number 2.  What
will your four-legged friend dress up like this year.  Be
creative.

2:00pm        The Yorkie Rodeo Costume Contest. Judges to be announced.

2:15pm        Last call for tickets for raffle table number 1.  Award
First and Second place prizes for the Costume contest.

2:30pm        Announce winners for Raffle Table number 1.

2:45pm        Sign up for the Kissing Contest at stage number 2. Is your
dog the best kisser?  Come and let them show thei
r affection to their owner

3:00pm        Kissing Contest on stage number 2 with MC Paul Brown.

3:15pm        Award First and Second place winners of the Kissing contest.

3:30pm          Purchase your balloons for the Rainbow Bridge balloon launch.
Do you have a favorite pet that has passed over the Rainbow
Bridge into Heaven. This is a tribute to those who have been
a loyal companion.  Buy a balloon for a $1.00 (all proceeds go
to the American Red Cross of the Northern Miami Valley
Chapter) and write a message on the attached card and we
will launch them together out front by the Rainbow Bridge.
You can also pay tribute to a family member who you love.

3:45pm        Gathering at the Rainbow bridge for silence and prayer.

4:00pm        Launching of the balloons.

4:15pm        Announce raffle table number 2. Last call for
50/50 tickets.

4:30pm        Announce Photo Contest Winners.  First Second Third
Announce 50/50 winner.

4:45pm        Announce Grand Prize Winner!  Congratulations!

5:00pm        Closing remarks.

Announce the date for the 4th Annual Yorkie*Fair
